About
On 17–18 March 2027, the Interreg Wildfire CE project invites researchers to a two-day scientific conference at TU Dresden. The event, building upon the success of the Fire in Central European Ecosystems Conference 2025, will bring together experts from across Central and Northern Europe to exchange knowledge on current and emerging wildfire challenges from interdisciplinary scientific perspectives. The conference will also present key scientific findings and practical outcomes from the Wildfire CE project, highlighting their relevance to wider wildfire research and practice. The symposium will be organised around three thematic tracks reflecting the breadth of contemporary wildfire research.
