About
Over the past few years the Northwest Natural Resource Group (NNRG) has engaged in several innovative projects aimed at restoring degraded habitats at the Skookumchuck Wildlife Habitat Management Area. This tour will showcase examples of planting and maintenance strategies for both Garry oak woodlands and riparian areas adjacent to the Skookumchuck River, ecologically-based timber harvesting techniques, and prairie/pollinator habitat restoration.
